Majestic specimen Acer...On the rocks
Acer Palmatum
I photographed this beautiful Acer on a visit, one of many at this stage. This beautiful tree is clearly very old and has beautiful ramification in its trunk line and branching. There was several in this rockery section of the garden. On this particular occasion I was hoping to visit the herbarium onsite, but unfortunately had just missed the opening hours, next time maybe.
