Fungi spotting 2025 Autumn/winter
Honey Fungus (Armillaria)
I enjoy learning about fungi, having only read a book so far on them, I am still enjoying trying to identify common varieties. The Bog walk in Altamont if you are in Carlow, is a great place to spot many varieties. Something magical and esoteric about the fruiting bodies, I've always found them fascinating.
